Unfortunately my garage door spring broke on July 3. I called Chris and he said he’d be out Saturday morning (July 4). He was very pleasant, professional and quick. Obviously he knew his trade. He replaced both springs and never even mentioned holiday rates. I have found a new garage door service.

When I called Gear Garage Door I talked to Chris and told him what I was looking for. Right away I was able to tell that Chris sounded like an honest person and not out to screwing anyone over. I sent him pics of my Chamberlain Garage Model. It was the original unit from when the house was built in 2005. It was not compatible to what I was looking for, a smart unit where I can open and close the door with an app from wherever I am. It also was making loud noises when opened and closed. I bought a new Chamberlain from Home Depot and Chris installed it for me at a reasonable price. He opened the box and went right to work putting it together in no time at all, he could have done this with his eyes closed, he made it look so easy. I would have been there all week trying to figure it out. I was so satisfied with his work that I had him put in new rollers and the rubber threshold at the bottom of the door. He fixed the loud noise and the door opens so quietly. And I have an app for the door. Chris was very professional and knowledgeable with his work. I recommend him for any of your garage door needs. Oh and tell him he looks like Ed Harris the actor, LOL
